The Solar Water Buggy is a fully mobile, high-capacity solar-powered water delivery system designed for ranchers, farmers, and livestock operations needing dependable off-grid water access. This versatile system delivers consistent performance for both shallow and deep-water applications, from wells and creeks to ponds and dugouts.
Engineered for durability, efficiency, and mobility, the Solar Water Buggy features a rugged 3/16″ Canadian steel frame, a 275-gallon trough, and a heavy-duty 1,500 lb axle with 12″ utility tires for easy field transport. The 4 × 100W solar panels (400W total) are angle-adjustable for maximum solar gain, while the 48V MPPT charge controller ensures optimal solar output and smooth operation, either solar direct or powered through four 12V AGM deep-cycle batteries for cloudy conditions.
Its multi-use solar pump fits a 4″ well casing or operates with a float assembly for ponds, making it ideal for various ranch setups. Equipped with low-water and full-trough sensors, adjustable pump speed, and a locking electronics box, it’s a safe, low-maintenance, and ready-to-use solution for livestock watering and rotational grazing systems.
